Kya’s last class was tonight. It was a pretty good one too. There was another mini-Rally course set up. Kya was a happy girl again. The course was pretty simple, some sits and turns and heeling pretty much. Her hardest part was not begging for treats from the people who have routinely been giving them to her. She was wagging her tail, trotting around, trying to play with the other dogs and sniff their people - just a general goof. Here she is realizing that the Look command results in treats:

But anyway, we passed!!

That is her very first certificate, here is to hoping there will be many more!

I talked to the instructor about where to go from here and we agreed she is not ready for the next level yet so my best option is to take the class again. I don’t feel that she is going to gain much more at this time though, so we’re taking a little break until there is yet more progress at home before we add another class. Yay for Lil’ Ms!
